Grand Arena

Grand Arena Championships (GAC) is the game's ranked player-versus-player mode, and it is the part of SWGoH with the longest memory.

Leagues and divisions

Rank is a pair: a league and a division within it.

RankLeague
5Kyber — highest
4Aurodium
3Chromium
2Bronzium
1Carbonite — lowest

Within a league, Division 5 is the top and Division 1 the bottom. So Chromium Division 4 → Division 5 is a promotion, and Chromium Division 5 → Aurodium Division 1 is also a promotion, because the league dominates the division.

This is the opposite of what the names suggest

"Division 1" sounds like first place and is not. The game's own data settles it: division is encoded as 5/10/15/20/25 and displayed as that number divided by five, so the top division carries the largest raw value — running the same direction as the league ladder.

SWGoH had this backwards until 29 August 2026 and reported every promotion as a demotion. If you are reading a screenshot or an export from before that date, the direction is inverted.

What is tracked

  • Seasons — one record per season played, with the league and division finished in.
  • Timeline — the promotions and demotions between seasons, in order.
  • Brackets — the eight-player group you were sorted into, captured while the season is live because it is not retrievable afterwards.
  • Opponents — who you were matched against.

Brackets are captured by a scheduled job. A season that ran while your instance was down has a season record but no bracket, and that gap cannot be filled in later.
