Players

A player is one Galaxy of Heroes account, identified two ways:

  • Ally code — the nine-digit code you share in game. Use it in Players → Lookup.
  • Player ID — the long internal identifier Comlink uses. It is what appears in URLs (/players/<id>), and it never changes.

What SWGoH keeps about a player

ProfileName, level, galactic power, guild, titles
UnitsEvery character and ship, with stars, gear, relic and level
ModsEvery equipped mod, with its secondaries — see Mods
ArenaSquad and fleet arena rank, and the current defence teams
Grand ArenaSeason records, brackets, and a promotion/demotion timeline

Players enter the system by being looked at

There is no master list of every player in the game. A player exists in SWGoH because someone looked them up, or because they were in a guild someone loaded. Opening a guild pulls in all fifty members at once, which is why the first load of a guild is slower than the rest.

Following

Any player can be followed. Following puts them in your side menu and generates notifications when their record changes — a promotion, a new unlock, a guild move. See Follows and notifications.

Comparing

Players → Compare puts two players side by side. The comparison is strongest on titles and unit ownership, where "what do they have that I don't" is a well-defined question.
